Job summary

Palmilla Senior Living in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Memory Care QMA to support the nursing team and provide high-quality resident care.

You will assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming; help with beds and trash; and monitor/ document medication administration in line with policies. Competitive benefits and opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified by the operating state to administer medications through a QMA, CMA, or state required med passing certification and must maintain current and unencumbered certifications
• CPR certified and/or first aid certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the nursing department with caring, coordinating, and managing the needs of residents.
• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming; help make beds and empty trash.
• Monitor and assist with medication provision, document services and resident condition, follow supervisor instructions.

Memory Care QMA Responsibilities:

• This Memory Care QMA will assist the nursing department with caring, coordinating, and managing the needs of the residents at the community and act within the State Regulations and Sonida Senior Living Policies and Procedures.
• To assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming. To help make beds and empty trash.
• To monitor and assist with medication provision following standards established facility policies and procedures. To properly document medication provision, services delivered and, if appropriate, resident condition.
• To follow instructions given by supervisor and communication with supervisor on resident health questions/concerns as necessary
