Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Illinois is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to lead the Embrace Wellness, Enrichment, Creativity, Connection, Challenge and Teamwork pillars. You will oversee Memory Care operations daily, collaborate with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team, and personally lead 5–7 programs daily to engage residents.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care and Senior Recreation Programming.
• 1–3+ years of experience in memory care or related roles.
• Certifications like Activity Director Certified or Certified Dementia Practitioner are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote Embrace philosophy to residents, families and staff.
• Implement and oversee the six unique pillars of Embrace.
• Daily oversight of the operations in the Memory Care area in partnership with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
• Lead high-quality innovative programs in Memory Care and personally lead 5–7 programs per day.
• Provide education, training, and hands-on support to community staff in partnership with the community managers.
• Implement and monitor programs to promote excellence in programming while maintaining satisfaction in a fiscally responsible manner.
