Job summary

The Kensington Sierra Madre in Sierra Madre, CA seeks a Memory Care Program Manager for the Connections Program to design, coordinate, and lead cognitive-stimulation activities that promote resident independence and engagement.

You will partner with Life Enrichment, Clinical teams, and families to align daily programming with the program’s mission, coach staff, and ensure compliant documentation and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate, engage, and support residents with cognitive change.
• Experience leading creative programming such as brain fitness, wellness classes, discussion groups, music, art, and sensory-based activities.
• Ability to observe resident needs and adapt activities in real time.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience working with older adults or individuals with cognitive impairment; Life Enrichment, Memory Care, recreation therapy, social work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a daily calendar of Connections programming focused on cognitive stimulation, social engagement, emotional wellness, and physical activity.
• Maintain a structured daily schedule with predictability, purpose, and appropriate cognitive challenge.
• Lead group sessions, one-on-one engagements, and activities tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to families and care teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure a holistic resident experience.
