Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living seeks a Memory Care Programming Coordinator to organize and implement programs for residents, addressing psychological, intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs in a caring environment.

The role requires coordinating events, promoting activities, and maintaining a robust calendar of programs for elders and those with dementia, with flexibility to work weekends/holidays. CPR may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in aging and dementia.
• Experience to develop a robust calendar of programs for elders and persons with dementia.
• Current CPR if required.
• Flexible schedule—weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, implement and evaluate community programming for residents.
• Schedule events, trips, meetings, rooms and group functions.
• Develop and oversee monthly community events and publications.
• Engage with residents, families and local organizations to enhance experiences.
