Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Memory Care Manager in Minneapolis to lead Dimensions programming, supervise staff, and collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered dementia care. The role emphasizes engagement, education, and resident well-being within a senior living environment.

You will coordinate resident activities, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with program standards while fostering strong family relations and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• A.A./A.S. degree required.
• Less than 1 year experience.
• Driver's license in good standing.
• Must be insurable under employer’s auto coverage.
• Medical Exam Certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must complete in-house transportation curriculum and pass driving evaluation within 30 days.
• Bachelor of Arts preferred; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and ongoing support to staff, volunteers, and students.
• Partner with Director of Health Services to support staffing, onboarding, training, development, and performance management.
• Coach and mentor team members on dementia care best practices and resident engagement.
• Assist with hiring and training activity staff.
• Serve as the site's Dimensions Champion and maintain required Dimensions Program training and certification.
• Implement, manage, evaluate, and continuously improve the Dimensions Program.
• Ensure the dimensions environment promotes engagement, well-being, and a positive resident experience.
• Facilitate care partner support groups and family education opportunities.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to incorporate cognitive assessments and individualized care plans.
• Promote non-pharmacological interventions and person-centered dementia care practices.
• Support residents in maintaining their highest possible level of functioning and independence.
