Job summary

Manorlakean is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to lead all aspects of the Memory Care Program for residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. The role focuses on compassionate, person-centered care, staff supervision, and collaboration with families and the care team.

Responsibilities include staffing, policy development, program oversight, resident plans, and ensuring consistent service delivery according to individual care plans.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in a memory care setting.
• Requires RN or licensed nurse status, or med tech/dementia practitioner credentials.
• Two years of geriatric care experience preferred.
• Must read, write, speak English; professional demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, schedule, supervise, and retain memory care staff.
• Develop and update care policies and procedures with leadership.
• Lead staff training, orientation, and competency development.
• Oversee memory care program activities, engagement, and resident plans.
• Coordinate pre-admission screening with sales and family input.
• Serve as liaison to residents and families; support marketing and referrals.
• Participate as Manager on Duty during weekends/holidays.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and quality improvements.
