Job summary

The Kensington Bethesda is seeking a Care Partner (CNA) for our Memory Care community in Bethesda, MD. This role provides Resident-centered assistance with daily activities in a compassionate, respectful environment, maintaining privacy and safety at all times.

You will help with hygiene, mobility, dining support, and documentation, while collaborating with nursing staff and families. We offer benefits, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Adult First Aid certification at time of hire and maintain it.
• Certification as a Nurse Assistant preferred; Not required in CA, NY, MD.
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to read/write English.
• Compassionate, patient, and motivated to provide care to seniors.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Ensure privacy in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and promote independence.
• Assist with safe transfers and repositioning as needed.
• Support dining: meal delivery, dining assistance, and monitor intake.
• Maintain resident records and report changes to supervisor.
• Keep rooms and common areas clean; report maintenance needs.
