Job summary

Palm Bay Memory Care in Palm Bay, FL is hiring a Medication Technician for 1st/2nd shifts on a part-time or full-time basis. You will administer or assist with medications, support residents with daily living activities, and work with the wellness team to ensure safe, compassionate care.

State certification for medication aides is required. You will document on MAR, maintain med cart security, and participate in on-call staffing coverage.

Qualifications

• Administers or assists with medications per physician order and MAR.
• Documents medications on the MAR and ensures accuracy.
• Supports activities of daily living and maintains resident dignity.

Responsibilities

• Administers or assists with medication administration per MAR and physician orders.
• Documents all medications administered on the MAR with accuracy.
• Maintains security of medication cart and narcotic keys.
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility.
• Reports changes in residents' condition to Wellness Director or charge nurse.
