Job summary

Grand Villa of Palm Bay is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Med Tech to join our care team. This role administers medications, monitors residents’ health, and supports daily activities for memory care residents in Palm Bay, Florida.

You will work with nursing staff, maintain accurate documentation, and follow safety and infection control protocols. A Florida background screening is required; weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold CMT certification or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician’s orders and facility policies
• Monitor residents for any changes in health status and report findings to nursing staff
• Assist residents with daily activities and personal care as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Skills and Qualifications:

• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification or equivalent required
• Prior experience working with memory care residents preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures
• Flexibility to work weekends and part-time hours
