Job summary

Sonida Senior Living seeks a Memory Care QMA at Magnolia Trails at East Lake in Tarpon Springs, FL to assist residents with daily care and coordinate with nursing staff. The role includes medication assistance and documentation within state regulations.

Qualified candidates are licensed or certified to administer medications (QMA/CMA) with current credentials; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Training and benefits are provided in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified by the operating state to administer medications through a QMA, CMA, or state-required medication-passing certification and must maintain current and unencumbered certifications
• CPR certified and/or first aid certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming; help make beds and empty trash.
• Monitor and assist with medication provision following facility policies; document medication provision and resident condition.
• Follow supervisor instructions and communicate health questions/concerns to supervisors as necessary

Memory Care QMA Responsibilities:

• This Memory Care QMA will assist the nursing department in caring for, coordinating, and managing residents' needs in the community and will act within State Regulations and Sonida Senior Living Policies and Procedures.
• To assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming. To help make beds and empty trash.
• To monitor and assist with medication provision following standards established by facility policies and procedures. To properly document medication provision, services delivered, and, if appropriate, resident condition.
• To follow instructions given by supervisor and communicate with supervisor on resident health questions/concerns as necessary
