Job summary

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent and applicable geriatric care training.
• Medication Tech, CMA, or QMAP certification as required by law.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Criminal record clearance or exemption as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Assesses health and safety needs of residents; oversees medical care (medications/treatments).
• Supervises staff to ensure safety and well being of residents.
• Participates in preparation for annual inspections and planning.
• Acts as liaison with doctors, families, and residents; provides updates on residents’ conditions.
• Responds to emergency situations and conducts tasks safely per safety program.
