Job summary

Koelsch Communities seeks a dedicated Med Tech for its Deer Ridge memory care in Washington. Full-time role with evening shifts (2PM-10PM Fri/Sat; 6AM-2PM Sun/Mon). New grads welcome. Pay $22–$25/hour depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

You will administer oral and external medications under licensed nurse supervision and deliver high-quality, individualized care while assisting with daily activities and ensuring resident safety.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-certified medication aide course.
• Must be able to obtain CPR/First-Aid certification per policy and state rules.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication administration and treatment assistance per orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer meds following guidelines.
• Maintain resident medication records and observe for changes promptly.
• Assist residents with ADL tasks including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Uphold resident rights and interact in a courteous, empathetic manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
