Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Memory Care Aide to provide medication administration, daily living support, and mobility assistance in a dedicated Memory Care Unit.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal services while monitoring residents and reporting changes to the nursing team. A valid SD Med Aide license is required at hire, with a 36-hour weekly schedule and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must complete and maintain medication administration training per state guidelines.
• Active SD Med Aide license required at time of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED may be required based on working state.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with self-administration of medications and may administer medications with proper training.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing and maintaining cleanliness.
• Helps residents with toileting, transfers, and mobility.
• Takes vital signs and reports health status changes.
• Maintains hygiene, cleans rooms and public areas, and follows safety protocols.
