Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; in some states, a GED may be required.
• Must complete and maintain assigned medication administration training program and state-mandated competencies.
• lifting/transfer knowledge may be required in facilities using lifts; adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication administration and healthcare support to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily hygiene.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, repositioning and walking.
• Record vital signs accurately and report changes in health status.
• Follow OSHA/CDC guidelines to minimize infections and maintain safety.
