Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Columbia, MD, seeks a Life Enrichment Manager to create purposeful, resident-centered experiences for memory care residents. You will design Life Skills programs, tailor routines, and lead enrichment activities to foster dignity and meaningful engagement.

The role requires 1+ year experience with memory-impaired seniors, a high school diploma, and strong communication and organization. A collaborative, caregiver-focused environment is offered with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities
• Document participation per quality standards
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities
