Job summary

Capri Communities is seeking a Memory Care Manager to lead the Memory Care neighborhood with a person-centered approach, coordinating care with nursing staff and ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines. Reports to the Executive Director.

The role involves training, staff development, and active involvement in resident assessments, care planning, and outings, with on-call expectations and some evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with individuals with memory loss.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to use electronic systems.
• Ability to coach and train staff with on-the-job moments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families.
• Ability to plan, develop, organize and implement memory care programs and policies.
• Two or more years’ program experience in memory care.
• Two or more years’ supervisory experience with strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead memory care program operations and ensure policy adherence.
• Coordinate and deliver staff training beyond Relias.
• Support team to foster compassionate resident relationships.
• Attend managers meetings and participate in on-call rotations.
• Oversee Move-in planning and service plan development.
• Collaborate with clinicians on resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist with volunteer orientation and dementia education.
