Job summary

Anthem Memory Care in Ohio is seeking a nursing leader to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to residents living with memory loss. You will assess, plan, implement, and reevaluate resident needs while guiding CNAs and Resident Assistants.

This role requires administering medications per doctor orders, documenting histories and assessments, upholding resident rights, and contributing to safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• A current and valid nursing license.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a senior living community.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a management/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and provide nursing care per care plan.
• Directly supervise CNAs and staff; train, assign, and evaluate performance.
• Participate in Pathways of Purpose program through functional engagement.
• Ensure residents' rights are maintained.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document nursing history and initial assessments.
• Address complaints from residents, families, or physicians as needed.
• Respect advance directives and support dignified death and family.
• Respond to life-threatening situations per standards.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend in-service trainings; safety and infection control.
• Maintain safety policies and report hazards promptly.
• Practice infection control and report issues.
