Job summary

Ovation by Avamere is seeking a Laundry Technician to ensure a clean, sanitary environment for residents in a memory care and assisted living setting.

The role involves collecting, sorting, laundering, and distributing linens and personal clothing, with strict infection control protocols and compassionate resident care. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, at Ovation Sienna Hills in Washington, UT.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate with staff and follow instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens and clothing daily; sort by fabric, color, soil level.
• Operate commercial washers/dryers per sanitation protocols.
• Fold, hang, and distribute clean laundry to resident closets/drawers.
• Label clothing for memory care residents to prevent loss and ensure dignity.
• Maintain a clean, organized laundry area and report malfunctions.
