Job summary

Silverado Thousand Oaks is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. This full-time role blends attention to detail and reliability with a heart for service.

You will perform housekeeping across the community, ensure sanitation, and support residents with memory impairments. No prior memory care experience is required, but kindness and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the community.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in resident rooms and common areas.
• Support a safe and dignified environment for residents with memory impairments.
• No prior experience necessary - assisted living or hospitality experience a plus.
