Job summary

Good Shepherd Community is seeking a friendly Homemaker to support residents in our Memory Care home. You’ll handle daily housekeeping, sanitize rooms, assist with laundry, and provide escort and activity support in a compassionate, client-focused environment.

This role offers a weekday schedule (Mon–Fri), no weekends or holidays, and a benefits package including PTO, health options, and retirement savings. Training and onboarding welcome new teammates into our mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to plan and organize daily/weekly tasks.
• Ability to work in a home setting with pets and cleaning chemicals.
• Excellent communication with clients, families, staff.
• Reliable, punctual, and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home for residents.
• Sanitize rooms, change linens, and tidy living areas.
• Assist with laundry and return clothing to clients.
• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, volunteers, and staff.
• Provide escort assistance to activities and meals.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance needs.
