Job summary

Splendido in Tucson, AZ, seeks an Engagement Coordinator to plan and deliver meaningful programs, events, and wellness experiences for Memory Support Living residents. The role focuses on fostering connection, coordinating calendars, and supporting resident-led initiatives.

You will collaborate with residents, families, volunteers, and contractors, while utilizing technology to create engaging activities aligned with our wellness philosophy.

Qualifications

• College degree in Recreation, Arts/Humanities, Hospitality, Psychology, Education, Geriatrics or related field, OR 2+ years related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service.
• Collaborative, welcoming, positive attitude and enthusiasm for engaging older adults.
• Self-initiator requiring minimum supervision.
• Ability to use or learn tech-based services and platforms; e.g. Outlook, Zoom, YouTube, resident facing portals, and A/V set-ups.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates successful delivery of daily programs and events, coordinating spaces, technology, and facilitators.
• Contributes to calendars, newsletters, signage, and resident communications; maintains engaging community updates.
• Promotes active program participation and tracks engagement and feedback; develops new program ideas.
• Participates in resident and employee committees and meetings; supports input for programming and amenities.
• Assists in development and delivery of outings, external events, and partnerships with contractors.
• Collaborates with experience centers to ensure spaces, food, beverage, marketing needs are met.
• Uses resident technology and virtual/hybrid programming tools to engage residents.
