Job summary

Qualifications

• College coursework in social work, gerontology, psychology, or recreation therapy.
• 1–2 years experience in a dementia setting or related field.
• Ability to plan, direct and assess activity programs for memory care residents.

Responsibilities

• Know and champion the memory care program vision and goals.
• Create and manage memory support activity programs and schedules.
• Interviews residents to determine history, needs and interests.
• Supervise volunteers and coordinate activities with staff and departments.
• Promote safety and quality in all activity programming; participate in meetings.
