Job summary

The Delaney at The Green is seeking a Director of Memory Care to plan, coordinate, and direct activities and programming meeting residents’ physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs. This is a full-time role with a salary range of $75,000-$80,000 per year.

Responsibilities include leading Heartfelt Connections Memory Care, staff training, resident engagement, and program evaluation, ensuring a comprehensive whole-person approach to wellness across eight dimensions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A degree in nursing, social services, or therapeutic recreation is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with program facilitation and activity program development.
• Certification or licensed per state guidelines.
• Current Basic First Aid and CPR certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Leads memory care programming in accordance with Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program.
• Manages memory care program functions including staff training and program implementation.
• Evaluate resident activity needs and collaborate with care staff to plan daily activities.
• Use training tools and playbooks for program orientation and education.
• Promote a holistic eight-dimension wellness approach for residents and staff.
