Job summary

The Delaney at The Green is seeking a hospitality focused Director of Memory Care to plan, coordinate, and direct a wide range of activities for residents with diverse needs. This role ensures engagement across emotional, intellectual, social, and physical wellness within the Heartfelt Connections program.

The position requires leadership of the memory care team, ongoing program development, and collaboration with care staff to tailor daily activities to each resident's interests and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A related field degree is preferred (nursing, social services, therapeutic recreation).
• Certification or licensed per state guidelines is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads all efforts in memory care programming.
• Manages Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program and staff training.
• Evaluates resident activity needs and plans daily activities per resident interests.
• Uses training tools and the program orientation materials daily.
• Utilizes the Playbook and Activities Recipe Book for activities.
• Promotes a healthy community culture across residents and staff.
• Provides educational opportunities on disease prevention and wellness.
