Job summary

Cascade Living Group operates Regency Park in Oregon and is seeking a Memory Care Director to oversee memory care operations, hire and lead staff, and collaborate with leadership to meet resident needs.

The role requires two years of senior living management or equivalent nursing administration experience, an Oregon ALF/RCF Administrators License, and a commitment to confidentiality, care planning, and high-quality programming.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical nursing practice or long-term care administration/supervision.
• Ability to hire, guide and manage memory care staff.
• Ability to prepare, implement and review resident goals and action plans.
• Maintain proper records and reporting for residents and supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and coworkers.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to organize information and time effectively.
• Sufficient literacy to read care plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Special Needs Program per ED and state/federal laws.
• Supervise and monitor performance of the memory care team.
• Lead staffing through interviews, hiring, onboarding and training.
• Oversee department scheduling.
• Plan monthly Alzheimer's and Dementia support groups with life enrichment coordinator.
• Notify ED promptly of emergencies beyond your scope.
• Participate in resident orientation and care plan reviews.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
