Job summary

Indiana Fitness Works Inc. seeks a Memory Care Director for Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Centre's new building opening winter 2026. You will lead dementia-specific care programs, supervise care teams, and ensure compliant, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include designing care plans, mentoring staff, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining HIPAA and Medicare compliance across EMR/EHR systems. A strong background in nursing home memory care is essential.

Qualifications

Must have earned a degree from a healthcare, mental health, or social service profession or be a licensed health facility administrator.
Experience with Dementia or Alzheimer's residents in the past five years.
Experience leading long-term care facility teams focused on memory care.
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and Medicare policies.
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and medical records management.

Responsibilities

Lead design and execution of dementia care programs with person-centered approaches.
Supervise nursing staff, care coordinators, and support teams.
Oversee care plan development using medical history and resident preferences.
Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, HIPAA, and Medicare guidelines.
Manage medical records reviews, MDS, and clinical notes in EMR/EHR systems.
Train staff on resident rights, terminology, documentation, and dementia care techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes and resource allocation.
