Job summary

Clearwater Living Associates is seeking a Memory Support Director in Los Angeles, CA to lead memory care services for residents with dementia and related disorders. The role includes hiring, training, and supervising staff while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Collaboration with hospital and community partners is essential.

Salary range is $88,000–$89,500 per year with DOE. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday; opportunities for growth and a people-first culture are

Qualifications

• AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred in nursing, human services, healthcare, or related fields
• Minimum five to seven years of experience in senior living, healthcare, or related industry
• Completion of required specialized Nursing coursework for certification or certification as an RN, LPN or LVN is highly desirable
• Minimum two to three years of supervisory experience to include training and supervising staff and developing and managing a budget
• First Aid Certification
• Background clearances as required by government regulations
• Must meet health requirements, including TB

Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate memory care resident assessment program in accordance with rules and community policies
• Ensure initial assessments and comprehensive care plans are completed
• Conduct interviews and observations of memory care residents to flag changes in health
• Conduct regularly scheduled re-assessments and change of condition assessments as needed
• Ensure memory care residents receive best possible care and programs
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to maintain quality of life
• Serve as resource/care manager for residents and families
• Contact physicians and families to obtain orders for care and represent the community
