Job summary

The Leonard on Beverly, a premier luxury senior living community in Los Angeles, is seeking a Memory Support Director to lead memory care services, coordinate assessments, and ensure high-quality resident care. In this role you will hire, train, and supervise staff, partner with hospitals and physicians, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining residents' physical and emotional well-being.

Salary: $88,000–$89,500, Sunday-Thursday schedule; benefits provided in a culture that emphasizes

Qualifications

• AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred in nursing, human services, healthcare, or related fields or combination of education and experience supervising others in a senior living or hospitality environment
• Minimum five to seven years of experience in senior living, healthcare, or related industry
• Completion of required specialized Nursing coursework for certification or certification as an RN, LPN or LVN is highly desirable
• Minimum two to three years of supervisory experience to include training and supervising staff and developing and managing a budget
• First Aid Certification
• Background clearances as required by government regulations
• Must meet health requirements, including TB

Responsibilities

• Coordinate memory care resident assessments prior to move-in as required by rules and policies
• Ensure initial memory care resident assessment is completed before move-in and a comprehensive care plan is set
• Conduct interviews and observations of memory care residents and alert leadership to changes
• Perform regular re-assessments and change-of-condition assessments as needed
• Ensure residents receive best possible care and programs
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services
• Act as resource/care manager for residents and families
• Contact physicians and families to obtain orders and represent the community
