Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Cherry Hill, NJ seeks a Director of Memory Care to lead daily operations of the Memory Care department, align with the Embrace philosophy, and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the Health and Wellness Director to supervise staff, manage programming, and support residents and families.

The role requires 3–5+ years in dementia care, relevant certifications, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience with dementia care and memory-focused programming.
• Certifications in Activities Director, Therapeutic Recreation, Dementia, or related areas.
• Fluency in English; excellent communication with residents, families and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and care-plan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents for Memory Care level of care and coordinate assessments.
• Monitor regulatory timelines for reviews of assessments and care plans.
• Coordinate family/resident conferences and act as liaison between residents, families, and staff.
• Train Memory Care staff; lead and supervise Memory Care team with Health and Wellness Director.
• Organize monthly programming, lead 3–5 self-led programs daily, and manage budgeting.
• Promote the Embrace philosophy in daily operations and ensure high resident/family satisfaction.
