Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring a Full-Time Server for our community restaurant in Overland Park, KS. You will help create an exceptional dining experience for residents, build relationships, and deliver guest-level service.

Flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Responsibilities include delivering meals to Memory Care, setting up the food line, portioning meals, monitoring temperatures, maintaining kitchen stock, and upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• A friendly, eager to learn attitude with compassion for our Residents.
• 1 year food service experience required.
• 1 year senior living/healthcare experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s Card required or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Bring meals to Memory Care building.
• Set up hot/cold food line.
• Plate Memory Care meals with portion control.
• Track and manage food temperatures and dish machine temperatures.
• Maintain stock of food, drinks, supplies, and cleaning chemicals in Memory Care kitchen.
• Manage Food Safety within the kitchen (labels/dates, storage, rotating stock, temperatures).
• Wash dishes in the dish machine.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness.
