Job summary

Compass Senior Living in Vernon, IL seeks a Memory Care Coordinator to lead memory care programming and coordinate elder services. You will train and supervise staff, monitor care plans, and collaborate with the Wellness Team to ensure top-quality care.

You will conduct family councils, host Alzheimer's support/educational sessions, and support assessments and care planning for each elder while upholding confidentiality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, training, and supervision of caregiver staff to ensure quality of care
• Plan and assign duties for Care Partners in coordination with Wellness Team
• Monitor day-to-day care, mentor staff, and reinforce standards
• Coordinate housekeeping with the housekeeping department
• Perform medication aide or Care Partner duties when needed
• Complete paperwork for new residents and audit elder charts
• Monitor and update service plans, schedule quarterly plan meetings with elders and families
