Job summary

Integral Senior Living is a leading operator of Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities with a focus on Culture Keepers that support residents and empower teams in Colorado and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a memory care leader to coordinate programs, supervise memory care staff, and collaborate with families, activity teams, and partner organizations to ensure high-quality dementia care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of management in dementia care is required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to delegate assignments.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, develops and leads the memory care unit operation in accordance with laws.
• Partners with Activities Director to ensure activities are available and Care Managers are engaged.
• Designs and facilitates the memory care program with Life Skills and dementia-friendly activities; collaborates with Alzheimer's organizations.
• Plans and facilitates monthly family support group meetings; supervises CNAs in memory care.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, develops and leads the overall operation in the memory care unit in accordance with federal, state and local laws
• Partners with the Activities Director to ensure a variety of appropriate activities are available throughout the day and evening and that Care Managers are actively involved and engaged with activities
• Designs, schedules and facilitates the memory care unit program incorporating Life Skills and a variety of dementia appropriate activities; establishes a cooperative relationship with the local Alzheimer’s Association chapter or other Alzheimer’s advisory organization
• Ensures monthly family support group meetings are planned and facilitated; supervises C.N.A.s in the memory care unit.
