Job summary

Compass Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator to lead memory care programming and staff development in our Mount Vernon community. You will mentor care partners, coordinate Life Enrichment activities, and support service plans for each elder.

You will collaborate with the Wellness Team and Leadership to ensure high-quality care, maintain resident records, and foster family engagement through councils and education sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work with a high-functioning, empowered team.
• Compassion and collaboration with elders and families.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates caregiver staff to ensure residents' quality of care.
• Plans and assigns tasks with Wellness Team and Administrator for Care Partners.
• Monitors day-to-day work, mentors staff, and reinforces standards.
• Oversees housekeeping coordination with the housekeeping department.
• Performs medication aide duties when needed and maintains resident charts.
• Manages service plan processes, and schedules quarterly meetings with elders and families.
