Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Caregiver for Memory Care (MC) on 1st/2nd/3rd shifts, both part-time and full-time, at Park Creek Place of North Wales. You will provide compassionate companionship and assist residents with daily living activities, including memory care specific tasks, mealtime, laundry, and light housekeeping.

You will support activities, maintain dignity, and respond to concerns with a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors with dementia preferred.
• Proficiency in English to perform duties and communicate with staff.
• Basic computer skills; Outlook, Excel and Word required.
• Compassionate, kind, engaging and helpful personality.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to residents.
• Assist Memory Care residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Participate in and lead one-on-one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry and basic housekeeping in the memory care neighborhood.
• Address resident/family/employee concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and coworkers.
