Silverado Newport Mesa is hiring Caregivers to support residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory‑impairing conditions. This role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship building to create meaningful moments every day.

You lead with heart, patience, and integrity; you’re dependable, eager to learn, and thrive in a team-focused environment. The position includes full-time hours on the NOC shift, with pay in the $21–$24/hour range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
