Job summary

Paycom in Sweet Home, Oregon seeks a compassionate Care Partner (MC) to support Memory Care residents with daily living activities and cognitive engagement. This full-time role involves following care plans, assisting with grooming, meals, mobility, and documenting changes accurately.

You will work under Health Services direction, report incidents, use Montessori-inspired approaches where appropriate, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment that promotes independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care residents with ADLs and cognitive activities.
• Report incidents/potential liabilities to Health Services Director and participate in post-incident huddles.
• Assist with grooming, meals, mobility, and adherence to care plans.
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and charting.
• Create a safe, structured environment to minimize confusion and promote independence.
• Engage residents in social activities and support Life Enrichment Director as needed.
• Follow Montessori Approach when applicable and keep areas clean and organized.
