Senior Lifestyle in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a compassionate Memory Care Companion to support residents with daily living and meaningful activities. The role emphasizes dignity, engagement, and consistent companionship.

You will assist with activities of daily living including bathing and mobility, participate in group events, help with mealtime and light housekeeping, and communicate with residents, families, and staff while maintaining a warm, respectful attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors with dementia and leading activities.
• English proficiency to communicate with residents and staff.
• State CNA/CHHA license may be required.
• Basic computer skills with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Compassionate, patient and engaging demeanor.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems in evolving situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to Memory Care residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Lead one-on-one and group activities.
• Assist with mealtime, memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping.
• Respond to resident and family concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents and staff.
