Job summary

Ascension Living in Waco, TX is seeking a Nurse Aide to support Memory Care patients. The role includes assisting with basic care activities, ADLs, transfers and reporting changes to nursing staff under RN supervision.

The position requires a Nurse Aide certification and high school diploma; BLS is preferred. Memory Care experience is a plus, with a rotating/PRN schedule at Providence Village.

Qualifications

• Direct care and ADLs assistance as part of daily tasks
• Experience with memory care settings preferred
• Nurse Aide certification required before hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Direct Care & ADLs: Assist patients with basic care activities, personal hygiene, daily living tasks and transfers
• Clinical Support & Reporting: Assist with physician-ordered procedures under RN supervision and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Safety & Environment: Maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and identify safety hazards or emergencies
