Job summary

Sagora Senior Living in Lynridge of Waco seeks a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents in memory care and other services. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, personal care, and safety while maintaining residents' dignity and independence.

Strong communication with residents, families, and team members is essential. CNA preferred but not required; English proficiency is necessary for effective care and engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Experience communicating with residents, families, and staff in English.

Responsibilities

• Caring for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Participate in programming for residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and cleanup.
• Other duties as assigned.
