Job summary

Epworth Villa in Oklahoma City is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for Memory Care. You will deliver person-centered care, help residents feel safe, respected, and connected, and work within a faith-based, caring team.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certification, and at least one year of experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care; dementia-care experience strongly preferred. Schedule includes Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday; hours are 7:00 AM–7:00 PM;

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification through the American Heart Association required.
• At least 1 year of experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care; memory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, and personal care while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build trusting relationships through patience, reassurance, and meaningful interaction.
• Provide compassionate support to residents with memory loss, dementia, or anxiety.
• Notify care team of changes in mood, behavior, or health conditions.
• Follow individualized care plans and routines.
• Maintain a calm, engaging memory care environment.
• Assist with dining, activities, and light household tasks as needed.
• Document care accurately and participate in memory care training.
• Support residents across Memory Care neighborhood and cover other areas as needed.
