Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Trumbull is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for the 1st shift (7a-3p) on Sundays and Mondays. You will deliver resident care in a warm, home-like setting and assist with activities of daily living.

You will document care, report changes to the care team, and engage residents in meaningful activities while providing emotional support and excellent service. Valid CNA license required; prior skilled nursing/dementia experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred.
• Experience with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Deliver care with strong customer service to ensure meaningful resident experiences.
• Other duties as needed.

We're hiring Part Time on 1st Shift, 7a-3p - Scheduled days available are Sunday & Monday.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
