Ovation by Avamere is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Washington, UT to provide routine daily nursing care in memory care or assisted living settings. The role supports residents with ADLs, monitoring health changes, and offering companionship in a safe, resident-centered environment.

Shifts include Eve and NOC with weekend availability. This position includes a strong benefits package and opportunities for ongoing education within a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNA in skilled nursing, memory care, or assisted living.
• Active CNA license in the state of work.
• Ability to obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid during employment.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Help residents transfer, reposition, and mobilize safely.
• Serve meals, assist with eating, and monitor intake.
• Record vital signs and track weight changes.
• Provide memory-support and de-escalation for sundowning.
• Engage residents in recreational and social activities.
• Document changes and report to supervising nurse.
• Maintain resident confidentiality.
• Attend staff meetings and continuing education.
