Ovation by Avamere in Washington, UT is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, emotional well-being, and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver in memory care or assisted living preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, attentive and professional demeanor with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance and support in transferring and using aids.
• Prepare and set up meals, assist with feeding as needed.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Engage residents in activities to reduce loneliness.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and report safety concerns.
• Monitor health changes and report to medical staff.
• Assist orientation of new residents and staff as needed.
• Respond to resident calls promptly.
