Job summary

Riverside Healthcare in Bourbonnais, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. The CNA will provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and support memory-impaired residents with dignity and respect.

The ideal candidate holds an active Illinois CNA license and BLS, works well in a team, communicates clearly with residents and staff, and is committed to HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois CNA certification required.
• BLS certification or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and compassionate elder care skills.
• Ability to work with memory-impaired residents with patience and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide oral, skin, and hair care as needed; help with mobility and transfers.
• Monitor residents and report health changes to nurses; take vital signs as trained.
• Document care accurately and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and participate in care planning.
