Silverado Alexandria is hiring a Clinical Staff Manager to lead clinical scheduling, caregiver coordination, and administrative support for our memory care community. You will oversee scheduling, licensing, payroll approvals, and cross‑functional collaboration with HR and DHS, ensuring top‑notch staffing and resident care.

The role requires empathy, proactive problem solving, and a commitment to teamwork across PM, NOC, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling, preferably with dementia-related care.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and dementia care practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Empathetic communication style and a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily and monthly clinical staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with staffing ratios.
• Maintain caregiver shift preferences and availability in an active scheduling database.
• Respond to emergent scheduling needs with creativity and urgency.
• Supervise caregivers across all shifts, including PM, NOC, and weekends.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new caregivers.
• Track and maintain associate licenses and certifications.
• Provide regular updates to the Administrator and Director of Health Services on staffing, overtime, call-offs, and performance metrics.
• Approve payroll and manage timecards for the clinical team.
• Collaborate with HR and DHS on performance concerns, workers’ comp, and leaves of absence.
• Coordinate training and continuing education for clinical staff.
• Oversee budgeting, inventory, and ordering of clinical supplies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community events.
• Foster strong relationships with caregivers, nurses, and community leaders to support retention and satisfaction.
• Supervise adherence to policies and procedures under DHS direction.
