Silverado North Shore is hiring a Clinical Staff Manager to lead clinical scheduling, caregiver coordination, and administrative support for our memory care community. You will oversee staffing coverage, licensing tracking, payroll approvals, and collaboration with HR/DHS to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling, preferably with dementia-related care.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and dementia care practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Empathetic communication style and a “can-do” attitude.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Commitment to working with seniors in a culturally diverse environment.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Comfortable working in an environment with animals and pets.
• Ability to collaborate with other department leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical staff scheduling and ensure proper coverage and staffing ratios.
• Coordinate caregiver shift preferences and availability in scheduling system.
• Respond to emergent scheduling needs with urgency and creativity.
• Supervise caregivers across PM, NOC, and weekend shifts.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new caregivers.
• Track licenses and certifications of associates.
• Provide regular updates to Administrator and Director of Health Services on staffing and metrics.
• Approve payroll and manage timecards for the clinical team.
• Collaborate with HR and DHS on performance concerns and leaves of absence.
• Coordinate training and continuing education for clinical staff.
• Oversee budgeting, inventory, and ordering of clinical supplies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community events.
• Foster relationships to support retention and satisfaction.
• Supervise adherence to DHS policies and procedures
