San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide direct care for memory care residents, assisting with ADLs while promoting safety, dignity, and well-being.

The PM shift (3 PM–11:30 PM) runs Thursday to Monday, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off; prior geriatric care experience and CPR certification are preferred. We offer medical benefits, PTO, retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, commuter benefits, and more.

Formación

• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform basic arithmetic.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or willingness to learn within 90 days of employment for documentation purposes.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, transferring, and toileting.
• Follow safety guidelines and universal precautions.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Follow assigned caregiver schedules and resident care plans; respond to call lights.
• Monitor nutritional intake, functional status, and psychosocial well-being; report status changes.
• Document resident status changes, including medical reactions and psychosocial changes.
