Job summary

San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living in San Francisco is seeking a part-time Caregiver for Memory Care. The role involves direct resident care, assisting with ADLs, safety, and dignity, with a PM shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM on Fri-Sun.

You will follow care plans, document changes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Must have CPR, English literacy, and ability to perform basic tasks. Competitive pay and solid benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or willingness to learn within 90 days of employment for documentation purposes.
• Ability to provide coverage or work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, transferring, and toileting.
• Follow safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and universal precautions.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Follow assigned caregiver schedules and individual resident care plans; respond promptly to all call lights.
• Document resident status changes, including physical changes, medication reactions, and psychosocial changes.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
