Job summary

San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living is seeking a Caregiver for the Frank Residences Memory Care unit in the Excelsior area. This full-time role covers the PM shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a 40-hour workweek and a Tuesday to Monday rotation.

YOU will assist residents with daily activities, monitor health status, document changes, and collaborate with the care team to promote safety, dignity, and well-being for older adults in a compassionate, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform basic arithmetic.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or willingness to learn within 90 days of employment for documentation purposes.
• Ability to provide coverage or work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, transfer, and toileting.
• Follow safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Adhere to resident care plans and respond to call lights promptly.
• Document status changes and health observations.
• Support enrichment activities and light cleaning of apartments as assigned.
