Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Caregiver Certification required; Nurses Aid certification preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English; good communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety (50%).
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, activities, and toileting (20%).
• Provide assistance at mealtime with serving and clearing, and deliver room trays as needed (3%).
• Transport residents and assist with transfers using proper safety techniques (3%).
• Chart and document relevant information and report changes to a supervisor (4%).
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and emergencies; participate in safety drills (3%).
• Encourage participation in daily activities and lead meaningful activities (3%).
• Perform laundry and assist with community activities and duties as required (1%).
